DAY 1: AMMAN ( DEPARTURES ON SUNDAYS)

Upon arriving at Queen Alia International airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Amman.

DAY 2 AMMAN – JERASH – AMMAN

After Breakfast, head north of Amman to visit one of the best preserved Roman cities of the Decapolis (Jerash). Back to Amman for a City Tour Amman - the Capital City. Visit Citadel / Archeological Museum, Roman Theatre / Folklore Museum and the Tour in the capital city will also include walking tour downtown with testing of felyafel snack followed by panoramic tour of the new modern parts of Amman. Evening at leisure.

Enjoy a full day at leisure to explore the city or take optional tours.

Full day Pella & Umm Qais
Umm Qais is a town in northern Jordan near the site of the ancient town of Gadara. It is situated in the extreme north-west of the country, where the borders of Jordan, Israel and Syria meet, perched on a hilltop (378 meters above sea level), overlooking the sea of Tiberius, the Golan heights and the Yarmouk gorge.

Pella: known as Tabaqat Fahel one of the cities making up the Decapolis. The city was the site of one of Christianity’s earliest churches. The place was refugee for Jerusalem Christians in the 1st century AD who were fleeing the Jewish–Roman wars.

Half-day Bethany - The Baptismal site of Jesus Christ
The Bible confirms that John preached and baptized in a place called Bethany Beyond the Jordan, which Byzantine and Medieval texts, as well as modern archaeology identify as the site called Tall Al-Kharrar and Elijah’s Hill. Stunning archaeological discoveries since 1996 reveal pottery, coins and architectural remains from a 5th century Byzantine monastery.

Half-day Desert Castles
visit 3 of the most preserved Castles in the Eastern Desert starting with Qasr Kharana, then Qasr Amra and finish with Qasr Al-Azraq. Castles are built between 7th and 8th Century and give impressive examples of Islamic Art and Architecture.

DAY 4 AMMAN – MADABA – NEBO – PETRA

After breakfast, depart for Mt. Nebo for a panoramic view of the Jordan valley and the hills of Jerusalem in the distance, then continue to Madaba and visit the oldest known mosaic map of the Holy Land in the St George Byzantine Church. Continue to Petra and overnight.

DAY 5 PETRA – WADI RUM

Today, a half day tour will take you to Jordan’s Jewel, Petra, one of the 7 wonders of the world. After Petra, head south to Wadi Rum to explore the desert for two hours by 4WD. Check in to the overnight desert camp for an authentic experience in the desert.

DAY 6 WADI RUM - AQABA

Leave your desert camp and head to the Red Sea resort area of Aqaba. Day at leisure. Relax by the hotel pool or the city beaches, explore the market, the ancient ruins of Aqaba or explore the amazing marine life by snorkeling or scuba diving.

DAY 7 AQABA – DEAD SEA

Free morning in Aqaba. Transfer to hotel on the Dead Sea. Overnight. Enjoy floating in the Dead Sea.

DAY 08 DEAD SEA – AMMAN AIRPORT

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Queen Alia International Airport in Amman for departure .
