DAY 1 CAIRO (FRIDAY)
Arrive in Cairo. After clearing customs and collecting your luggage, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in the Giza area overlooking the pyramids.
DAY 2 CAIRO
Free day at leisure (B)
DAY 3 CAIRO
Today is the day you’ve been waiting for! Visit the magnificent pyramids of Giza and admire the mysterious Sphinx. Spend some time taking photos of these legendary creations. After lunch, visit the site of Memphis, the oldest capital of Egypt and Sakkara, with its step pyramid. (B/L)
DAY 4 NILE CRUISE, CAIRO-LUXOR
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, transfer to the pier and board your cruise. In the afternoon, visit the temples of Luxor and Karnak. In Karnak, admire the most imposing sites of prayer ever known to man. Luxor is famous for its immense columns sculpted in the shape of papyrus buds. Return to the ship. (B/L/D)
DAY 5 NILE CRUISE
Visit the Valley of the Kings with the necropolis of Thebes and the temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir-El-Bahari, one of the most remarkable architectural monuments of the New Empire, and the Colossus of Memnon. Return to the ship and cruise to Edfu. (B/L/D)
DAY 6 NILE CRUISE
This morning, visit the temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the best preserved Greco-Roman temples in Egypt. Continue to Kom Ombo to visit the only temple in Egypt dedicated to two gods: Sobek, with a crocodile head, and Haroeris with a falcon head. Return to the ship and cruise to Aswan. (B/L/D)
DAY 7 NILE CRUISE
Today, visits will include the High Dam. Impressive in its dimensions, the dam is among the most spectacular civil works of the 20th century. Board a small boat and transfer to the Philae Temple, dedicated to Isis and to the granite quarries. At sunset, board a “felucca” (sailboat) and sail on the river. Return to the ship and dinner on board. (B/L/D)
DAY 8 ASWAN-CAIRO-HURGHADA
Disembark and transfer to the airport for your flights to Hurghada. Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the DAY is at leisure. (B)
DAYS 9- 11 HURGHADA
Three full days at leisure to enjoy the beach or snorkel at one of the best places in the world! (B)
DAY 12 HURGHADA – CAIRO
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo. Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. (B)
DAY 13 CAIRO
Visit the National Museum of Egyptian Antiquities which displays the most important collection of Egyptian antiquities in the world. Exhibited are over 120,000 objects from the Pharaonic and Graeco-Roman periods. Visit the Citadel, built in 1183, and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali. Enjoy exploring the famous Khan El Khalili bazaar for some treasures to bring back home! (B/L)

DAY 15 CAIRO
Transfer to the airport for your flights home. (B)
